Exhibition at the University of Kansas’ Marvin Hall

TransformKC hosted its sixth and final exhibition at the new Forum on the campus of the University of Kansas’ Marvin Hall. transformKC’s first exhibit in Kansas will be its last in the region. After over a year of shows, the exhibit will be retired at the Kansas Design Center (KCDC) and Union Station. For the last exhibit, transformKC is honored to be the inaugural event at the new Forum at Marvin Hall. While this was our last physical stop, you can see the boards at special exhibitions at both the Science Center at Union Station and KCDC.

All of the submissions within the exhibition are meant to inspire and elevate the public discourse around the transformative power of smart, sustainable transportation investments. With the exposure and events over the multi-year traveling exhibit, many of the ideas presented represent an opportunity to change the public’s perception of the future of the City and show the benefits of public transit.

The exhibition at KU’s Forum at Marvin Hall is the culmination of TransformKC’s International Call for Ideas that gathered some of the greatest urban design and transit projects from around the world. TransformKC intends to inspire the public imagination about regional mobility by showcasing built and unbuilt work that links rail-based transit to the design of our cities.
